#BookIllustrationOfTheDay is by Robert Lumley for “The Sly Fox And The Little Red Hen” a Ladybird Book by Vera Southgate (1968). For some reason, this image really caught my imagination as a child, with the hen spinning, tricked by the fox. Ah, the power of illustration!
