After 6 yrs advocating for #libraries, I can honestly say that they're treasured by the majority, incl politicians. What we're experiencing is the impact of 12 years of policy that is hostile to the welfare of ordinary people. If people want better, they need to vote better.

#Libraries are just magic aren't they? I mean, what a brilliant, generous idea. A place that belongs to everyone, deeply rooted in the joy of reading and imagination, that nurtures the ideas that will power the future. What a simple, beautiful, essentially human thing.
