#BookIllustrationOfTheDay is by Fritz Wegner for "The Prince, Two Mice & Some Kitchen-Maids" by E. Nesbit (featured inThe Hamish Hamilton Book of Princes, ed. Sinclair-Stevenson, 1964). Wegner's witty and charming drawings are always a real delight. Such a brilliant illustrator.

#BookIllustrationOfTheDay is by Jessie M King for "The Birthday of the Infanta" featured in Oscar Wilde's "A House of Pomegranates" (2014). The Scottish #ArtNouveau illustrator brings an almost spiritual quality to this rather cruel little princess. Plus gorgeous tulips!

#BookIllustrationOfTheDay is by Yoshiharu Suzuki for "Grieg's Peer Gynt" (no mention of Ibsen!), a "Fantasia Pictorial" book from 1974, a series of music-themed books. Here is the fab Mountain King with his rather, groovy trolls. Wishing you a troll-free week here on Twitter!
