Gibbons urges Vaizey to act on Kirklees library cuts
In his letter to the minister, Gibbons reminds Vaizey of his stance as a shadow culture minister in 2009, when he accused then culture secretary Andy Burnham of “ignoring his responsibilities as secretary of state” by not intervening in library closures in The Wirral.  Gibbons said that Vaizey would be dishonest if he now allowed the proposed cuts in Kirklees to go ahead.
